Honestly, at this point, time is working against McCain. Every day he slips another few points in a different red state, opening up a new battleground. Ohio, Indiana, Missouri, Montana, North Dakota; these were reliable Republican fortresses until McCain started unraveling them. This election is no longer just Blue states versus Red States. McCain is losing party marrow now. Another month of this and McCain could lose Texas and South Carolina.
Still, it’s not as bad as McGovern’s or Mondale’s 49 state electoral loss. Even Hawaii voted against them! Boy, those dogs sure couldn’t hunt.
